Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Account details you give us: name, email, phone (if you add it), city, and a password (stored only as a secure hash) or your Google sign-in ID.
• Profile details you choose to share: for brands — business name, category, logo, about; for creators — Instagram handle, follower count, self-reported engagement, niche, bio, profile photo, and a verification screenshot.
• Activity on the platform: proposals, messages, drafts, reviews, stories, and notifications.
• Basic technical data: privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (page views, device, rough location) via a cookieless analytics tool, plus one essential cookie that keeps you logged in.

We never scrape — creators add their own information. We do not collect payment or financial details, because EasySetu does not handle payments.

2. How we use it

• To run the service: show profiles, help brands and creators find each other, and deliver proposals, messages and notifications.
• To verify creator applications (manual review before a profile goes live).
• For safety and moderation — preventing spam, abuse, and misuse.
• To send you transactional emails (e.g. “a brand sent you a proposal”).
• To understand usage in aggregate and improve the product.

3. What we share

• Your public profile (handle, niche, city, packages, reviews) is visible to anyone — that is the purpose of the directory.
• With the other party in a collaboration: once a proposal or chat begins, the brand and creator can see each other’s name and messages.
• With service providers who help us operate (hosting/database, email delivery), under confidentiality.
• When legally required — e.g. to comply with the law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data; we may retain limited records where the law requires it.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information, and withdraw consent at any time — just email us. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.

6. Security & age

We protect your data with hashed passwords and encrypted connections, but no online service is 100% secure. EasySetu is intended for users aged 18 and above.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
